Eva Plays Dead have announced the release date of their upcoming new EP The Fix, which is due out on 27th April 2018 via Playing Dead Records. In celebration of this announcement, the quartet have released the video for new single Get Back.
“Life – life doesn’t always seem to go to how we want it to and living with a mental health condition like Bipolar Disorder can make you feel like you’re stuck living inside your head. ‘Get Back’ has been a song that has become incredibly important for us whilst dealing with Tiggy’s battles with mental health during 2017. The visuals throughout this song and video are created by Tiggy from real experiences and emotions she has faced before ultimately being confirmed as having Bipolar Disorder. This song is just the beginning of our new direction and positive future – we’re hoping that our new music and experiences will open up discussions surrounding mental health issues.”
Eva Plays Dead will launch a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund the release, building on their already strong fanbase. The band have set up Playing Dead Records to release the EP in order to maintain full creative control. Pledges can be made via this link from Monday 5th March.
